Our farm in Kilkea
Good hay starts
with the land
We have been in the hay and straw business for several generations, both making and sourcing top-quality produce for the Irish and international markets. Based in South Kildare, our farm has easy access to the M9 and other major routes.
We believe that producing top-quality hay and straw is about more than getting the crop dry. Good soil and grass management, the right equipment and tried-and-tested techniques help us produce a quality product, carefully managed from seed to your farm. Our free-draining limestone land here in Kilkea provides a good starting point.
Most of our hay is produced on our own farm in Kilkea. The remainder is sourced from established local farmers with whom C Greene Hay and Straw has built long-standing relationships. All of our hay is made to the same high standards, with care and attention from field to bale.
